About Your Pisan Hills
The Pisan Hills are an area of Tuscany located in the northwestern part of the region in the province of Pisa. Also known as Colline Pisane, it is a historical and geographical region located South of Pisa and Pontedera, East of Livorno, Southwest of San Miniato and with Volterra at the Southern edge. The history of the province dates back to the Etruscans and Phoenicians and is currently most famous for it's capital city of Pisa and the Colline Pisan Wine Trail.
The goal of this website is to highlight the beautiful, but often overlooked Pisan Hills (in comparison to Florence, Chianti and Val d’Orcia) to travelers when planning trips to Tuscany. The site will be focusing on unique and authentic accommodations, dining and experiences to give them more visibility amongst travelers coming to the area. We aim to provide a comprehensive guide to the Pisan Hills, featuring hidden gems and local secrets to enhance the travel experience.
